Bespoke upholstery and furniture makers PerthOur team of upholsterers and furniture makers are passionate about upholstery and Australian-made furniture. We have been making quality pieces for over 40 years, previously operating under the name ‘Everest Furnishings’.
Our busy workshop located in Perth is where the magic happens. Our furniture makers make commercial and bespoke furniture as well as upholstery restoration of antique and iconic pre-loved pieces. For instance, we make custom and house designed banquette + booth seating, sofas, modulars, bed heads, ottomans and all things upholstered.
All our furniture is built and upholstered in-house with quality craftsmanship and professional customer service. In addition, we also offer prototyping and bespoke upholstery options.
It is our aim to help our customers create the perfect furniture piece for them. All furniture is created at our Welshpool (Perth) workshop. We pride ourselves on customer service and offer a personalised service, assisting with the dynamic nature of bespoke design. Our furniture makers can shape sofas to follow the curve of a wall, or stretch them to fit a large space. We can adjust foams so your sofa is softer or firmer. You have an idea, we can do it. Above all, with every Everest Design creation, you can expect reliable advice, an eye for detail, and long-lasting furniture.

Joining forces
In late 2019 Everest Design joined forces with Artifex Australia to expand the possibilities of what each company can offer their clients. Based under the one roof, these two businesses have been able to build upon their combined skill group. Together they forge ahead as market leaders in custom upholstery and furniture making, as well as offering a specialist reupholstery service.
